College. . .
A lot of us are preparing to go off to college right now. How do you all feel about graduating with debt? It seems that in today's job market, a bachelor's degree is becoming something like a high school diploma, and graduate school is what sets you apart. So are we willing to put ourselves in thousands (sometimes hundreds of thousands) of dollars in debt when we may have another 4 years to go.Oi vay!

I am worried about graduating with debt, but on one of my college visits, a tour guide/presenter mentioned that college is an investment. By making a good college decision and getting a good job, hopefully we will benefit from said investment.
ReplyDeleteYes, but it seems to be a risky investment lately. Graduates aren't getting jobs right out of college, and what if we don't want to go into something lucrative like law?
ReplyDeleteWell, we'll see. I guess I'll just have to take the plunge to know.
