There's this interesting article in the Omaha World Herald about black cats not up for adoption during Halloween season because of disturbed individuals who will abuse them.
I can't believe someone would even think about hurting an animal just because they are superstitious. That is sick and deranged. That type of person should seriously consider psychiatric help.
