absent students

A new prize-winning opportunity has presented itself at Mockingbird Elementary in Ralston. Putting tickets in a box and drawing a winner has increased the school's attendance, allowing only those whom manage perfect attendance to participate (one ticket per week of perfect attendance). It seems to be encouraging kids to go to school, however, the tardiness has not improved.

  1. It seems sad that schools need incentives to educate their students! A good education is a privilege many kids around the world don't even get.
