Kathy Rocco

Don't know her? Neither did I, not until the illuminating article in the World Herald today. She was the only staff member of Omaha Film Office, but her position was terminated with budget cuts. Though I feel for her, thrust into the competitive recession job market, it seems to me this was a reasonable reduction. There are hard decisions to make in fixing the city, state, and national budget if we want to avoid debt that is unrecoverable. Thank-you Kathy, for going out like a martyr.
