A bill was passed Thursday that now allows taxpayers to write off donations to Haiti when filing their 2009 taxes. These donations will go to the Haiti earthquake relief fund, and that will add to the $127 million already donated to the American Red Cross. It's a nice change seeing that a story on Haiti isn't about another eight earthquakes that hit them in two days.
