Olympics

This year, I feel like there hasn't been a lot of promotion and hype about the winter olympics. The summer olympics always seem to be advertised for weeks prior to the event. Maybe I just haven't had time to watch television, but it seems that the winter olympics haven't gotten a lot of attention this year. I haven't seen commercials or major news stories about the event. In fact, today is the first day I've heard anything about the start of this event; first on the news this morning and second in the world-herald. The olympics deserve more than just a few plugs the week before the opening ceremony.
