Teen Against Texting While Driving
Benson High Jillian Humphries appeared before the Nebraska Legislature's Transportation and Telecommunications Committee to support a bill that would ban texting while driving. The bill would fine $200 for a first offense and loss of three points from a driver's license. The fine would be $300, then $500, for second and third offenses.
