Army of the Future

In today's paper, there is a front page article about how army training is being redesigned. This reminded me of something else that I read. It (the other article) basically stated that in 20 or 30 years, the United States will no longer be a world power. The article attributed this loss of power to the skyrocketing obesity rates, claiming that if everyone is obese, then we will not be able to build a sufficient army. Also, the photo that goes with the World Herald article looks surreal. There's something very strange about it.
