Baby Boomers Go Gaga Over Youth

I know my mom wouldn't even consider ordering the senior special at a restaurant - though she's entering her fifth decade, she tells everyone she stopped having birthdays the day she turned 39. Now that the baby boomers have neared the dreaded gates of seniority, they're rearing their heads in fear. Deemed 'baby boomers' because they were born post World War II in the throes of jubilance, they have always had sway over society because of their prevalence in the population. Will they now get a new euphemism for 'elderly' too?
