Tech-Savvy KId a Little TOO Optimistic

According to the Omaha-World Herald, eighth-grader Alyssa Thompson unashamedly proclaimed "She could catch up on homework and check assignments even if she's sick and has to stay home." This of course, is under the pre-tense of receiving a school-issued laptop. I'll chalk it up to naivety this time, but as we all know (ahem! westisders) nobody in their right mind does homework on a sick day, REGARDLESS of the technology at hand.
