Oil Spill in the Gulf

A large oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico has exploded and spilled hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil into the Gulf. This could prove to be the greatest ecological disaster in decades. The environment in the Gulf is very delicate. Many areas are just beginning to come back to life. This oil spill threatens to ruin all the efforts this nation has made in that area to restoring the environment.
