Bacon and Chocolate

A new food trend is dipping strips of bacon in chocolate. I haven't personally tried this concoction, but my initial reaction was "ew". Upon further reading this article, the writer mentioned that bacon could also be combined with ice cream, doughnuts, brownies, cookies and pies, not to mention candied bacon cubes. I am a fan of french fries dipped in vanilla soft serve and am aware that salty and sweet can be a good combo, but think I will stick to just plain bacon for breakfast. Or any meal.
