Crouching Tiger, Hidden Masters
I come from a line of golf enthusiasts. They are not good and they cannot teach the scoring to me, but they can keep the radio going for the title. What I learned about golf instead was that Tiger Wood's five months off were just the calm before the storm of stories. I heard of almost no one else, and not much of it had to do with golf. Sure, on the surface it was all scorecards, but always related to his stint in rehab. All of it was a measure of how the scandal and time off hurt his game. I feel for Phil Mickelson, the champion, because he will be completely exclipsed by Woods just like the sport itself. It would be nice if now at least everyone would move on.

It is very unfortunate that little attention was given to Phil Mickleson. They could have used his wife's cancer story to make a touching story out of his win.
